i have my AK all set to go through a focus rite 18i20 and its not outputting the effects through the individual voice outs. sounds fine through the L/R outs and the headphones. is this normal? i hope not
It is normal because the effects are not applied directly on individual tracks, but are applied afterwards. Overbridge will be the same as well

it’s pretty normal… these are return fx, so they are parallel. You can get the fx sounds from the master output (i think… never did thins).
This is not lame at all… now you got the full analog channel, with its analog sounds… without any digital component. The filter and amp do work on your output, I assume?
yeah, the filter and amp works as i expected. im seeing some of the benefits of this, but it was disappointing to build a patch that relied heavily on efx with the expectation to record it and manipulate each track further in Live.
but as you say, it has its pros even though it isnt what i expected.
