Very happy with my new AR. Been doing my best to follow instructions since new to Elektron…
But can someone PLEASE just give me step by step instructions on how to import samples from my computer, including exact names, steps, etc and whether I have the right C6 software. I’m using Sysex librarian–it won’t seem to let me upload/paste my wav files!! I did however successfully upgrade to the OS1.1b

I’ll give it a try…
Download and install the latest “C6 Sysex Manager” from http://www.elektron.se/support-and-downloads. It’s currently at version 1.5 and as I understand it, you need this version to get the sample names transfered as well.
In the C6 config menu, tick “SDS Handshake” and “Use Extended SDS” and select your AR in the Midi interface list.
Then on the main window, click “Load” and then pick the desired samples (or drag-n-drop them to the application). They will now show up listed in the main window.
Make sure the AR is set to receive MIDI thru USB (Global->MIDI Config -> MIDI Port Config -> Input From).
To transfer them, click “Send”.

Also make sure the files are highlighted in C6 when you click send, this stumped me for a few minutes.
You can set the incoming directory in AR, if not then they’ll go to the ‘incoming’ folder.
still dreaming with a plug & play usb option to see Rytm as a simple drive for drag & drop 
^ this would make things better for sure, also, i would like to see some sort of hint on the screen when a file is being uploaded. unless i’m doing something wrong, i can’t see any message saying ‘loading sample…’ so at the beginning i wasn’t sure whether the files i was sending were actually being uploaded on the machine or not…
Seconded, I really hope this functionality to manage samples in an easy and efficient way is part of overbridge when its released.
